Getting started
How fast is my address active?
Within 24 hours of completed identity verification — usually the same business day.
What do I need to sign up?
A valid passport or ID card and a payment method. Companies also send a registration extract (or equivalent).
Why do you verify my identity?
To make sure mail is only handed to the right person and to prevent fraud. It is a one-time online step.
Do I need to live in France?
No. Most of our customers live outside France.
Mail & parcels
Do you receive registered letters (lettres recommandées)?
Yes. With a postal power of attorney (procuration), which we help you set up, we sign for registered letters, log them and notify you immediately.
Can several people use one address?
Each recipient must be named on the account: 1 name on Starter, 2 on Business and up to 5 on Premium.
What happens to advertising?
We discard obvious advertising free of charge unless you ask us to keep everything.
Do you accept parcels?
Yes — included on Business and Premium, per item on Starter.
What we don’t do
Can I register my company’s head office at your address?
No. We do not offer company domiciliation (siège social). Our address is a correspondence and returns address only.
Is the address a proof of residence?
No. It is a mailing address and cannot replace a justificatif de domicile. It does not affect your tax residence either.
Billing & cancellation
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards and SEPA Direct Debit, via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically every month.
Is VAT added to the price?
No. MyFrenchAddress is run by ABC Office, a Swiss company, and no VAT is charged: the price you see is the price you pay. You receive an invoice by e-mail after every payment.
How do I cancel?
From your customer portal or with one e-mail, effective at the end of the paid month. We forward or return remaining mail as you instruct.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Plan price plus postage at carrier cost. Extras (additional scans, parcels on Starter, express handling) have published flat prices.
